Introduction to Automation & Orchestration (3 hours)

Introduces core concepts that move beyond basic task automation to teach practitioners how to define and build a catalog of services that support the needs of DevOps practitioners. It introduces students to the F5 RESTful API, walks through the process of abstracting BIG-IP services using iApp templates, demonstrates use of the F5 iWorkflow product to create a Declarative Service Catalog, and deploys those services onto the F5 BIG-IP platform.

DevOps Breakout Track
Building Continuous Delivery Pipelines (4 hours)

Covers concepts, practices and tools that are foundational to delivering application services in a continuous delivery and deployment pipeline. The course covers core DevOps methodology concepts, provides an introduction to Infrastructure as Code (IAC) concepts and then walks through the creation of a CI/CD pipeline using F5 tools.

Module 3 F5 Toolchain Components Identify ways to build upon the F5 toolchain; and introduction of the F5-super-netops-container, F5-postman-workflows, and the F5-newman-wrapper. (Four labs included)

조원균 지사장은 2011년 9월 F5 네트웍스 코리아에 합류해 국내 F5 비즈니스의 현격한 성장과 함께 F5내 한국의 위상강화를 이끌어오고 있다. F5에 합류하기 전, 시스코 시스템즈에서 아태지역 통신 사업부문 지원 및 국내 통신 영업을 통해 국내 주요 통신 사업자 인터넷 인프라 구축에 큰 기여를 하고, 시스코 코리아의 사업 전략 수립 및 영업 오퍼레이션을 총괄한 바 있다. 이전에는 KT의 기업전략 및 마케팅 부문을 거쳐, 케이블 앤 와이어리스(Cable & Wireless) 사에서 IP 사업부문의 영업 마케팅을 총괄하였다. 조지 워싱턴 대학교(The George Washington University)에서 MBA과정을 수료했다.

Based in Tokyo, Japan, Keiichiro is the Regional Solutions Marketing Manager of Asia Pacific and Japan for F5 Networks. He is responsible for building marketing strategies, messaging and positioning, supporting marketing programs as well as managing market intelligence and analyst relations.
Prior to joining F5, Keiichiro was Field Marketing Manager of IP Infusion Inc., where he also managed local customers’ project and requirement analyses. Keiichiro was also the Program Manager at Cisco, where he was responsible for launching Advanced Services portfolio, and Project Manager at AT&T Global Network Services Japan, where he managed international customer projects implementing network services including IP-VPN/MPLS.
Keiichiro comes with 18 years of experience in the information technology industry in project/program management and product/solutions marketing.


Herry Abdul Azis

Starting a professional career at the Indonesia’s Technology Research and Application Agency (BPPT), Herry who holds masters system engineering from Nagoya of Institute of Technology - Japan, was previously held eGovernment Director of Directorate General of Informatics Application from 2009 through 2013. Having successfully implemented the e-learning program in Jogjakarta in 2013, he was assigned to become Director of Informatics Industry Empowerment. Among his ideas is to include the interactive electronic game in the Minister of Communications and Informatics’ Regulation No. 11 Year 2016.

Based in Singapore, Prakash is the Director of Solutions Architecture for F5 in Asia Pacific, where he is responsible for strategic business transformation and evangelizing solutions across the regional markets.
Prior to F5, Prakash was at Tech Mahindra, where he was responsible for strategic solutions, portfolio management and driving partnerships globally.
He comes with more than 23 years of IT experience across multiple vertical markets, including telecommunications, insurance and manufacturing.
Prakash holds a master’s degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences in Pilani, India.

Karthik Ramarao

Based in Singapore, Karthik is the Director of Field Systems Engineering for F5 in ASEAN, where he leads the team of Solution Architects, assists the local customer engagements and drives strategic customer workshops across the regions.
Prior to F5, Karthik was with NetApp Asia Pacific as CTO and Director of Strategy and Technology. In this role, he was responsible for evangelizing NetApp’s technology and advocating solutions to customers and partners.
Before Netapp, Karthik was the CTO for Dimension Data IDC and Cloud Services, where he led teams to deliver exceptional value to the overall business.
Coming with 27 years of experience in the IT Industry, Karthik held various roles in research and development, product marketing, technology consultancy and presales in Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems (APAC).
Karthik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications.
